ESPN Classic, ESPN3.Com, And HRTV To Provide Live Super Saturday Coverage

ESPN Classic, ESPN3.com, and HRTV will be on site at Belmont Park on October 1 to provide live coverage of “Super Saturday.”

The ESPN Classic and ESPN3.com broadcast will begin at 4:30 p.m. and include live coverage of the Grade 2 Kelso, featuring champion Uncle Mo taking on older horses for the first time; the Grade 1 Beldame, in which Havre de Grace will seek to further cement her Horse of the Year credentials; and the Grade 1 Jockey Club Gold Cup, where Travers winner Stay Thirsty will clash with Whitney and Woodward runner-up Flat Out.

Covering the Belmont races for ESPN Classic and ESPN3.com will be Jerry Bailey, Jeannine Edwards, Hank Goldberg, Randy Moss, and Joe Tessitore.

HRTV will provide coverage of the entire day from Belmont, with live reports starting at 11 a.m. and running through the end of the card. In addition to the Kelso, Beldame, and Jockey Club Gold Cup, HRTV will also cover the Grade 1 Flower Bowl, the Grade 1 Joe Hirsch Turf Classic, and the Grade 1 Vosburgh.

Carolyn Conley and Richard Migliore will be reporting on site at Belmont for HRTV.

NYRA is offering a special $500,000 Guaranteed All Graded Stakes Pick 4 on “Super Saturday.” The wager kicks off at 3:57 p.m. with Race 7, the Vosburgh, continues with the Kelso at 4:33 p.m., the Beldame at 5:06 p.m., and culminates with the Jockey Club Gold Cup at 5:46 p.m.
