Ramon Dominguez widened his lead in the Aqueduct Racetrack fall meet jockey standings on Friday, riding four winners on the card for the second time this week and bringing his meet total to 12. On Friday, Dominguez sat a stalking trip aboard favored Boys At Tosconova ($2.60) in race 3, an allowance optional claimer, and capped his own rolling double worth $12.40 in race 4 atop I’ve Got Speed ($7.80). The rider was also responsible for a $58.50 late double, piloting favored Associate ($3.70) to a front-running, eight-length score in race 8 and longshot Selection Sunday ($24.40) to victory in the nightcap. Dominguez also rode four winners at the Big A on Wednesday, November 9 and is currently the nation’s leading rider in earnings with more than $18 million in purses so far this year. There were two winning tickets for Friday’s Pick 6 sequence at Aqueduct, which had a three-day carryover of $188,309 and saw an additional $548,100 bet into it. The two winning Pick 6 tickets, one of which was made on-track at NYRA, paid $246,256 each, while five of six consolation tickets paid $144.
