The CORRECTION Handicap was named for the filly of the same name owned by R.W. Walden. Between 1872 and 1898, Mr. Walden had 200 winners for earnings of $1,367,796. Correction ran for the stable of J.A. and H.A. Morris, a stable that accounted for 75 of those winners.
The CORRECTION Handicap was run at Jamaica Race Course prior to 1960. Run in two divisions in 1954 and 1955. Not run in 1972. Open to all ages in 1952.
